Developed novel quantitative methods to look at complex patterns in pollution and public health. Developed an expertise and accelerated the field of big data techniques and trend analysis. Developed new quantitative risk assessment methodologies to evaluate tempo-spatial data in massive data arrays.

Led the design and development including marketing of a Biotechnology Department from the ground up including the business implementation strategy including options analysis of off-site or on-site development, lease or own analysis, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.

Health economics of a Non-Insured Health Board member in support of community of practice transformation for basic and elected health care. Provided expert advice in developing risk models to inform stakeholder negotiations which were adopted by other non-insured federal departments.

Participated in the design and implementation of a government-wide initiative to streamline and standardize human resource practices. A new common human resource business process standard was developed and implemented across all departments. Led the development of a GC-wide performance measurement framework including logic model and performance indicators.

An IP project supporting capability-based investment across the Government of Canada. Culminated in the publishing of the All-Hazards Risk Assessment Book of Knowledge. Advised on the use of quantitative and qualitative techniques and their application in public sector risk management.

Developed a benefit roadmap to optimize the use of financial (SAP) and human resources systems (PeopleSoft) and implemented a department-wide business improvement process to identify, prioritize and implement projects which help keep the department aligned to government initiatives and technology standards.

Risk management services for the Military Pension Renewal project transferring the administration of the CFSA and RFSA to PSPC and the Government of Canada Pension Centre which included a cloud migration in a multi-tenant architecture.

Produced a Departmental Risk Profile alongside an environmental scan of Government priorities, as well as new Acts and Regulations affecting the operational business. The client was provided with Threat Risk Assessments of several high priority risks and issues they were faced with during the planning cycle.

An organizational IT service management transformation initiative which consolidated 100 + service centres through adopting ITIL practices and a commercial off the shelf toolset (Axios). Streamlined business processes which enabled organizational efficiencies and lead to significant operational savings through consolidation.

A workplace modernization initiative creating innovative physical spaces, networks, applications. Coordinated network innovation projects with the CRC and NRC to allow high speed remote access through embedded Virtual Privacy Networks. Participated in the development of tools to increase the data integrity of LDAP information and advised an enterprise application rationalization initiative.

A CRM project using MS Dynamics mandated after the Hazardous Materials Information Review Act and was merged into the Product Safety Program (PSP) to support public health and safety. As a result of this merger, the program and tools used to perform risk assessments on public health and safety required updating to address the context of PSP’s policies. Logical data model of the relevant systems required to execute an action plan to modernize the IT functions.

Worked with private industry leaders through the Built in Canada Program on the application of Artificial Intelligence Platforms, Analytics services, Case Management and Cloud providers. Developed a technology roadmap by soliciting business requirements from senior management and wrote a supporting business case.
